Sexy Pirates -Arrrgh!
I felt like I was the last person in America to see the new Pirates of The Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest movie since I didn't go until last night to check it out. Seeing how the movie shattered almost every box office record this past weekend, when I decided to wait until Monday to see it, it felt like forever. But I did see it last night. And to be honest... it was only fair.
Here's why I said that... The special effects and make-up were incredible. To the point where you really think this is all real. The actors did a decent job with what they had to work with. However, the plot was only so-so, and the editing... sucked. It was just way too LONG. I mean I got my $9 worth since from the time I sat down, it was almost 3 hours later I got up after all the previews and stuff. But when you keep checking your watch, and the person next to you is asleep in the chair, that doesn't bode well.
However, there is one thing that I have to point out... The pirates... Now in the movie... They are ugly son's of bitches. But they are meant to be ugly. I mean some of those guys are so nasty with their rotten teeth, charred flesh... and don't get me started on the hair.
However... in real life... the two male leads Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp are quite the eye candy, depending on your tastes.
So since the movie wasn't so great, here is my tribute to the record breaking Pirates movie... These two clips will probably bring you more joy than the entire movie will.

The only people who would like this movie are 12-yr-olds, the blind/deaf, and perhaps the dead. I don't think the actors can actually watch this movie and honestly say they liked it. I would rather have sat thru the Lake House or a chick flick than this shit....I want my money back!
